Gábor Juhász is a Budapest Award-winning jazz guitarist and composer who has alsoreceived the Gramofon and Artisjus awards, as well as the Aegon Award. Since 1990, he has been teaching, currently at the Bartók Conservatory’s jazz guitar department. In 2021 and 2022, he was named Jazz Guitarist of the Year by the Hungarian Jazz Portal, based on critics' and audience votes. in 2006, he founded the Juhász Gábor Trio and has performed with internationally renowned artists such as Archie Shepp, Palle Mikkelborg, Erik Truffaz, Randy Brecker, and Béla Szakcsi Lakatos.
Péter Papesch began playing bass guitar at the age of 21 as a self-taught musician. He collaborated in India with Ilaiyaraaja, the renowned film composer. His duo with accordionist Aleks Maslakov won first place in the jazz category and third place in the world music category at the Castelfidardo Accordion Festival in Italy. Péter has performed in prestigious jazz clubs in cities like New York, Washington, Paris, Tokyo, and Stuttgart, and has appeared at the Montreal Jazz Festival with Besh o droM.
Ádám Pettik is a percussionist and vocalist, best known as the founding member, frontman, and leader of Besh o droM, the first internationally significant world music band from Hungary. Before this, he collaborated with renowned musicians like Peter Ogi and Félix Lajkó. As part of Besh o droM, Ádám contributed music to films by Miklós Jancsó and theater productions by Róbert Alföldi. He also developed a unique percussion instrument called Peckdrum, which serves as a drum kit alternative. He plays this innovative instrument in the Juhász-Papesch-Pettik Trio.
